Volunteer!

The success of any band program relies heavily upon the support of parent volunteers. We will have many opportunities throughout the school year for you to become involved with the CMS Band in several different capacities. Even if you have little time to spare, there are areas outside of regular school hours that you can volunteer for. We will need large numbers of parent volunteers to help with:

• Concert set-up & tear-down

• Fundraiser (product distribution, sales, etc.)

• Library organization & filing, Music copying

• Community relations (music advocacy, donation solicitation, etc.)

• Publications (newsletters, parent contact/volunteer organization)

• We need at least 1 chaperone per 10 students on EVERY field trip.

• Please note the performance/field trip dates listed on the calendar throughout the year and contact us if you are willing and available to chaperone!

• You must be a volunteer with Brevard Public Schools to be a chaperone. Please see directions above on how to become a volunteer!
